Singer-songwriter Zeya pledges to plant trees

Beautiful new singer-songwriter Zeya is set to showcase her music to more than 100,000 people over the next six months but will not be getting platinum disks or number one singles. Her single is being given away for free with an innovative box set advising people how to get the most out of their gadgets.

However she is still happy to have struck a deal which came about in the most unlikely of circumstances where her music will be given to customers of mobile phone giants 3 and says Zeya: “at this early stage in my career it is all about getting my music out there.”

The amazing deal came about bizarrely when Zeya was on the phone to the UK’s biggest gadget support company The Gadget Helpline earlier this year as she was having a problem with her iPod and started singing to herself.

Unbeknown to her, the Gadget Helpline had told all its staff they were on the lookout for a way of offering their customers added value with their in the form of free downloadable music and Zeya’s catchy rock tracks perfectly fitted the bill.

She is now going to following in the footsteps of Radiohead and McFly by giving away her music for free and says: “It would be nice to go to number one in the future but right now the main thing is to raise my profile and this seems to be the perfect way of doing it"

Zeya is also pledging to plant a tree for every 50 downloads achieved off the site and has forged a link with the Carbon Managers as her adopted carbon company. So if you want to help plant trees and hear great music visit
